I am reading your sweet letter and sitting here tearing up - I am so moved to know I was able to bring you a little joy when you were deployed! I don't think I had ever even considered that people might be reading my column outside of the US until people started writing to me this week. My daughter and son in law are Navy veterans and I know how important it is for our troops to have any touch of home to make them feel connected to their country and family and life. Thank you for writing to me and letting me know my columns were important to you, you made my day! As soon as Liz and I land somewhere, I will post on Threads and Twitter and let you know how to read our columns. xo xo xo

Your letter made me tear up a little. I think about all the hard work weeks I had over the years and how finding some little moment of joy helped me put the week behind me and shake it off. I am so thankful that you found that in our columns, that we were able to make your weekend cheerier, to take your mind off you real life stresses and just smile. And thank you for saying our column could have been longer but I think we both ran out of words for once. Lol. Please keep following us, we are making plans to find a new space to write.
