There is a casting call for the role of "Candace," an African American woman in her 30s who is described as a "super-smart, confident, top notch executive with a background in science from Chicago." She is happily single but not opposed to finding a relationship. The contract role begins taping near the end of August.

Anthony Preston has joined the cast as Rob. His first airdate was August 17.
