Phyllis broke down over her conflicted feelings of gratitude and resentment toward Sharon. Nick staged a meeting between Sharon and Phyllis to get them to talk about their traumatic experience. After an awkward but poignant heart-to-heart conversation, Sharon and Phyllis forged a tentative truce and pledged to no longer be enemies. Tessa told Daniel that Mariah wasn’t opening up to her. Sharon confided details about her kidnapping experience to Traci, who became increasingly alarmed by the parallels between Sharon’s story and the bizarre messages on Alan’s phone. Traci hid her panic when Sharon proposed that she and Phyllis seek psychiatric help from Alan. After making up an excuse for not being able to join Alan in Paris, a tearful Traci turned to Jack with her suspicions that Alan was really Martin and that he’d been behind Sharon and Phyllis’ kidnapping. Traci worried that Alan would never forgive her if she was wrong. After consulting with Chance, Jack called Alan to lure him back to Genoa by gushing about how much it would mean to Traci to have her wedding at the Abbott home. Traci steeled herself to face the man she loved and find out the truth. Victor admitted to Michael that he’d engaged in past business battles with Aristotle Dumas, and he ordered Michael to look into why Dumas had resurfaced. Victor later informed Lily that Dumas had forwarded information about her and Devon to Damian months earlier, and he theorized that Dumas had his eye on taking over Winters. Billy and Sally agreed there would be no secrets between them. Sally later wondered why Dumas had been repeatedly trying to contact Billy, and she was put off when Billy wouldn’t disclose details about his connection to the reclusive mogul. After a strange encounter with an emotional Phyllis, Diane encouraged Billy to help his ex. Billy told Phyllis that Dumas had reached out about helping Billy take back Chancellor Industries from Victor. Phyllis flipped out about the change in plans and warned that Dumas was manipulating Billy. Connor was thrilled when Adam and Chelsea revealed they were back together. Adam and Chelsea later announced their reunion to the Newman family. Kyle and Claire played hooky from work to spend a romantic day together. Nikki and Jack bonded over their mutual support of Kyle and Claire’s relationship.
