Jack (Peter Bergman) is a keen strategist. He knows that if he's going to have to win the epic war between himself and Victor (Eric Braeden), he's going to need allies. Jack likely feels that the people closest to Victor may be the strongest allies with whom he can partner.

On Thursday's episode, watch for Jack to turn to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for help. Veteran Y&R fans recall when Jack was Vicki's stepfather during his first marriage to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Jack also played a role in bringing Vicki back to Genoa City from Italy. Will Vicki be able to help Jack? Or will her torn loyalties between keeping the peace and not crossing her father stop her in playing a significant role?

Cane (Billy Flynn) may or may not want to take over all the businesses in Genoa City, but one thing we do know is that he'd like to reconcile with Lily (Christel Khalil). The two shared an epic love story that was torn apart in no small part due to the machinations of the late Colin (Tristan Rogers).

On Thursday's show, watch for Cane to charm Lily. Will he invite her onto his train for a romantic dinner? Will Cane charm Lily by sharing with her that he's given up his plans to wrest control of all the businesses in Genoa City? Cane is determined to re-win Lily's heart. Whether he succeeds or not, only time will tell!

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has finally shared with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) part of her big secret. She broke off her relationship with Tessa because she almost killed someone. Curiously, Mariah didn't fess up to Tessa when she first came home. Instead, she directed her feelings inward, potentially making the situation worse!

On Thursday's show, watch for Mariah to possibly misdirect her frustrations when she confronts Daniel (Michael Graziadei). She's not jealous of Daniel's guitar-playing skills. Mariah may not like that Daniel has become her wife's confidante. But Mariah may have only herself to blame for the distance between her and Tessa. Could Daniel act as a mediator between the two?
