Cane Ashby (aka Aristotle Dumas) made his presence known to his guests from Genoa City in June. Since then, he's been promising that all will be revealed soon. Well, now the time for that has come! On Tuesday's episode, Cane will reveal details about his time away from Genoa City!

The missing years

Cane exited the canvas years ago when he went off to track down Colin (Tristan Rogers), who had made off with Devon's (Bryton James) millions. He and Lily had been facing difficult challenges as Cane had apparently fathered a baby (Sam, named after Cane's late sister, Samantha) with Juliet (Laur Allen), a colleague with whom he'd had a one-night stand.

The road to Cane and Lily possibly reuniting someday was derailed as Cane had another mission: to get Devon's money back to him. Cane succeeded, but he didn't return to Genoa City. We saw what Lily was going through, but we were unaware of what Cane had been up to. There were rumblings that he was the enigmatic Aristotle Dumas. Those rumors gained more traction when Amanda (Mishael Morgan) came to town and met with Lily, Devon, and Nate (Sean Dominic), assuring them that Dumas, her employer, meant Winters no harm.

We know that with Colin's help, Cane was able to amass a huge fortune that made him extremely wealthy. How wealthy? Cane has a huge chateau in France, multiple trains, and he's bought up many properties in town, including the Genoa City Athletic Club. Pretty soon, folks may not be able to go anywhere without stepping into one of Cane's properties.

Did Cane have anyone's help besides Colin? Perhaps he encountered some powerful individuals who helped him put his power base together. Might we see how Cane came to work with Amanda? It's possible we could see the late Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and Carter (Vincent Stalba) in flashbacks as they both worked for Cane.
