Audra brought lunch to Nate’s apartment, and he was happy to see her. He told her that Amy Lewis had just left. “She was my dad’s lover and the mother of his child, who also happens to be my half-brother,” Nate shared. He added that Amy hadn’t seen her son in years and didn’t know where he was. “She wants me to find him and break the news that we’re family before it’s too late,” Nate revealed.
Nate gave Audra the details about his half-brother Damien and how Amy was dying. “I get Amy wanting to reconnect with her son before she passes. That makes sense. But asking me to be the one to reunite them? That’s a bit out of line, right?” Nate asked. Audra agreed it was a big ask. Nate thought that finding Damien and telling him the truth of his paternity could upend both of their lives.
“The more you say it, the more out there it sounds,” Audra said. She wondered if Amy was scamming Nate. He admitted it crossed his mind that Amy was playing him, but it wasn’t like she had asked for money. Audra said he was the perfect mark and Amy would have done her homework. Nate admitted that some things didn’t add up.
Nate said when Amy told him she had leukemia, he offered to connect her to some new treatment, but she shut it down. They wondered if she really had cancer or was just looking to gain sympathy. Nate thought the story Amy told was heartbreaking. He told Audra that he felt like his life was just finally starting to fall into place, and then this drama was handed to him.

Devon interrupted as he had a message from Nate. Audra and Devon were frosty with each other as she left. Nate assured Devon that Audra was ticked off when she found out he’d asked Devon to hire her, but not at Devon. Nate clarified Audra was mad at him as she wanted to find a job on her own. “So if you thought she was using me, you’re wrong,” Nate said. He told Devon to brace himself as there could be a new member of the Winters’ extended family.
Nate told Devon about Amy but said he wasn’t sure if it was true and was thinking about asking his mom. They weren’t sure what Olivia would know, but Nate thought whatever happened between Amy and Nathan was before Olivia and Nathan were together. Devon wanted Nathan to be prepared, as Amy could have a big impact. Devon said he had something to ask but knew Nate had plenty to digest already.
Devon told Nate that he wanted him to be his best man. “This is the second time I’ve been blown away today,” Nate said. Devon agreed that they were still working on healing their relationship, but they had come a long way, and he felt like Nate was his right-hand man. Nate said that out of everything they had accomplished together, mending fences with Devon was what he was most proud of, and Devon felt the same way. Nate said he would be honored to be Devon’s best man.
Abby invited Sally to Society and showed her a table of food. When she held out a bottle of Sally’s favorite wine, Sally asked if Abby was trying to butter her up for something. “Whatever it takes to get you to say yes,” Abby said cheerfully.
Abby told Sally she had been visiting Ashley in Paris and thought she had found the dress. However, everything went wrong, and she tried to have it altered, but it was just not what she wanted. Abby hoped that Sally would design a new dress for her. Sally happily agreed and asked for the timeline. Abby said she needed it in two weeks.
Sally said that the quick turnaround was giving her deja vu. Sally got to work on designing a “Grace Kelly meets Audrey Hepburn” wedding dress. Audra came in and asked if she could join them as she was early to meet with an old business associate. Abby wasn’t pleased but agreed to let Audra join them.
Audra suggested that she and Abby address the elephant in the room. She told Abby that she was seeing Nate and that Abby was marrying Nate’s cousin and noted they would both be around for a while. Abby clarified that she didn’t like or trust Audra any more than Devon did. Abby added that despite her feelings, she wouldn’t hold it against Sally or anyone else for being friends with Audra. “Just don't expect me to welcome you with open arms,” Abby said. “I wasn’t asking for a hug, but we could be civil,” Audra said.
Sally showed Abby the design she had drafted, and Abby excitedly told her that she loved it. Audra watched them interact and looked upset that Abby was so friendly with Sally. Once alone, Audra snapped at Sally. Sally noted that Audra usually had thicker skin and didn’t understand her mood.
Audra told Sally that her meeting had been canceled. It was the third time that week that someone had bailed at the last minute and didn't offer to reschedule. Audra suspected that her previous association with Tucker McCall permanently stained her reputation. “Tell me the truth, have I lost my touch?” Audra asked Sally.
Sally wondered if Audra was considering giving up on trying to take control of Glissade. Audra said she would strike if an opportunity arose, but in the meantime, she would just watch from a safe distance as the Newman and Abbott war played out. Audra said she didn’t want to get in the mud with “those people” again.
Nikki entered the Athletic Club and spotted Lily across the room. She greeted her, but Lily ignored Nikki. Nikki took a seat and asked to be heard. “If it hasn’t sunk in yet, that’s something you’ll learn when you’re working with me. When I want something, I never give up,” Nikki said.
Lily clarified that she and Nikki would not be working together and noted that Nikki was as ruthless as Victor. Lily was disgusted that Nikki used Katherine’s name and memory to get what she wanted. Nikki insisted that what she had said about Katherine was true and thought that Katherine would want Lily by Nikki’s side when she was CEO. Lily laughed and said that Nikki and Victor needed to get their stories straight.
Nikki was genuinely confused, so Lily explained that Victor told Devon his actual plan was to get Lily back at Winters. She added that Victor even played the “Neil card” and said their father would want her working with Devon. "Well, Victor has his thoughts, and I have mine. When I said I want you working with me at Chancellor Industries, I meant it,” Nikki said. She added that she would be calling the shots and could do what she wanted.
“You really think there’s no chance you won’t get Chancellor. You think because you’re a Newman and you have Victor behind you that it’s going to happen,” Lily said, incredulous. Nikki said that she was confident that Victor would make it happen. “I think you’re both forgetting about a very worthy competitor,” Lily said. Nikki asked who that might be. “Me. Just don't expect me to have a position waiting for you,” Lily said coldly.
Nikki told Lily she lacked the resources to do a takeover, but Lily didn’t feel she needed them. Nikki was unsettled when Lily shared that Jill was back in the picture. Lily said it was only a matter of time before Jill and all the employees would want Billy out and Lily back in. “I’m confident that I’ll be back where I belong before anyone has a chance to get their hands on Chancellor,” Lily said. “We shall see,” Nikki said loftily. As Nikki stood up to leave, Lily added, “Just so you know, I think you and Victor need to find a new dream. It’s not going to happen, so I think it’s time to move on.”
Kyle met Victor at Chancellor Park as requested. Victor asked if there had been any new developments. Kyle assumed he was asking about Glissade and told Victor that the social media buzz about the new skin cream had preorders going through the roof. Victor said he was referencing his personal life. Kyle was surprised that Victor wanted to know about his parents’ break-up. Victor seemed upset that Kyle had not informed him of it, but Kyle didn’t realize it was relevant.
Victor asked Kyle some questions. He wanted to know if Kyle wanted his parents back together, but Kyle said Diane had shown her true colors. Victor wondered if Kyle cast his mom as the villain and Jack as the victim, but Kyle asserted his father was no victim. Victor asked Kyle would consider rejoining Jack at Jabot out of sympathy. Kyle wanted to know what any of Victor's questions had to do with Glissade. Victor told Kyle that if he were considering returning to Jabot, everything Victor planned would be at risk. "So I need to know where you stand right now," Victor said.
Kyle assured Victor he was as committed to Glissade as the day Victor put him in charge. Victor wondered how Jack knew Victor was Glissade's secret investor. Kyle accused Audra of telling Jack as payback for being fired. Kyle assured Victor that he would decline the offer if asked to return to Jabot. Victor told Kyle he had his answer. “To what question?” Kyle asked. Victor said he’d find out soon enough and left.
Victor returned to the office, and Nikki came in. She told him that she had an encounter with Lily. Nikki told Victor he needed to give up his revenge plot against Jack and focus all his time and attention on getting Chancellor before they lost it for good.
Victor thought Lily was bluffing, but Nikki disagreed. She asked Victor about wanting Lily to return to Winters, and he admitted he did. Nikki feared it was only a matter of time before Jill replaced Billy with Lily. “Don’t worry about Jill. I know how to get rid of her,” Victor said. As for Jack, Victor said he was willing to let his need for revenge go as he thought Jack had suffered enough humiliation losing his wife and son. Nikki wanted to believe Victor but didn’t buy it. Victor said he was still upset about what happened that night in the hotel room but agreed it was a good idea to concentrate on getting Chancellor.
Once alone, Nate had flashbacks of being a small child with his dad. Nathan talked about how there was nothing he wouldn’t do to be with Nate, and Nate told his dad he wished they could be together as a family with Olivia. “I tried, pal, I tried,” Nathan said. Nate picked up the phone and called Olivia, but she didn’t answer. He left her a message, saying, “I’ve got some questions about someone from Dad’s past. A woman named Amy Lewis. Talk to you soon.”
Abby met Devon at Crimson Lights and told him that Sally said yes to designing her wedding dress. They checked the dress and cake off their to-do list but noted they still didn’t know what venue Victor had planned for them. Lily marched up and asked if Devon had told Abby yet, but he said he was waiting until after they said their “I do’s.” “Waiting for what? What has my father done now?” Abby asked.
