At Phyllis’ urging, Daniel consented to a police search of his apartment. During the search, Chance found Heather’s phone and the bloody sheets Sharon had planted. Daniel and Chance were surprised to realize Heather had changed the password on her phone. After unlocking the phone, Chance discovered an unsent message to Paul, claiming Heather had feared Daniel because they’d been fighting. Chance forced Daniel and Lucy to move out of their apartment while the police investigation continued. Faith offered her support to Lucy. Phyllis suspected Sharon had somehow been involved in Heather’s death. Phyllis shared key moments of her past with Lucy. Sharon whisked Nick away on a picnic. Lily warned Jill about Billy’s recent moves at Chancellor. An infuriated Jill threatened to take back control of the company unless Billy fired Phyllis and rehired Lily. Diane opened up to Jack about her problems with Jack. Jack rebuffed Audra’s attempts to strike a mutually beneficial business deal. Jack interrupted an argument between Kyle and Diane, and Diane was stunned when he defended Kyle. Jack publicly blasted Diane for abandoning Kyle and accused her of only being interested in ending up on top. Jack admonished Victor for manipulating Kyle into stealing from his family. Adam objected to Victor using Kyle to hurt Jack. Claire told Victoria and Cole that Victor was Glissade’s secret investor. Victoria advised Claire to stay out of the Abbott family’s issues. Sally agreed to help Billy decorate his new home.
