This week on The Young and the Restless, Audra and Kyle had another vicious argument, and he threatened to make her disappear. Kyle decided to head to L.A. to fight for Claire. Nick postponed his flight to L.A. when Victor insisted he stay in town to help the Newmans fight Cane. Sharon worried that something more was going on with Noah than he was telling her. Victor confided in Victoria that he only wanted Jack to think they were working together. Jack urged Cane to turn over his AI program to Jill. Jill defended Cane until Victor offered to send her a copy of the letter proving that Colin had built his empire by swindling a widow out of her fortune. Nikki realized that Victor was scheming to get Cane’s AI and use it against Jack. Adam and Chelsea followed Victor’s orders to release the incriminating information on Colin and Cane. Cane pledged to sue Newman Media for defamation and hinted at giving Chelsea an exclusive on a very different story. Jill believed Cane when he denied knowing about Colin’s scam, but Lily was livid that Cane hadn’t done anything to warn the twins about the news story. Cane turned to Phyllis for help in changing the way people thought about him. Diane supported Jack’s plan to convince Jill to hand over the AI for him to destroy it, while he really planned to use it against Victor and Newman Enterprises. Tessa and Daniel learned that Mariah had hit it off with an older man named Will Hensley at the hotel bar, and Mariah and Will had left together. Tessa suspected that Will had triggered memories of Ian for Mariah. Daniel battled his growing feelings for Tessa when she called him her best friend and embraced him. Phyllis warned Daniel against falling for someone who was in love with someone else. Daniel agreed to accompany Tessa to Boston to see Mariah. After Danny and Christine urged Michael and Lauren to remember to reasons they loved one another, the Baldwins reconciled. Michael agreed to officiate at Danny and Christine’s wedding, while Lauren accepted Christine’s invitation to be her matron of honor.
