Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

The beauty of Danny (Michael Damian) and Cricket's (Lauralee Bell) wedding continued today as the reception kicked into gear. While the bride and groom exchanged vows on Friday, today was the day for family and friends to speak and share what the couple means to them. Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) was a standout, as always, as she recounted Danny and Cricket helping her become a proper lady. Nina wanted to marry Phillip (Thom Bierdz), the father of her son, Chance (Conner Floyd). However, she had a few, shall we say, rough edges. In Nina's own words, she was Danny and Cricket's own Eliza Doolittle, the lead heroine in My Fair Lady, played by the late Audrey Hepburn. Nina accurately recalled walking with a book on her head to help improve her posture. The wedding officiator, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), declared that there were two women there who forever changed his life. He was referred to, of course, his wife, Lauren (Tracey Bregman), and Christine. Let's face it, had Christine not forgiven Michael for his evil ways, Michael might not be the man he is today. There was also a nod to the time that Michael donated a kidney to Danny. Was it calculated on the attorney's end? Of course! It inspired Chris to look at her former stalker in a new light. However, there's no denying that, no matter what his motives were, Michael helped save Danny's life. The Young and the Restless writing team gets an "A" in history for this special wedding reception episode!
