Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

The new bond between Damian and Nate, or as Damian calls him, his “brother from another mother,” is getting off on a good foot. When they get along, these two men have intelligent convos, great banter, a common bond in caring about Amy…and both look phenomenal in purple. The halfsibs team of Nate of Damian is one we want to see more of. Put the hurt and anger aside, the contention and distrust, and we might actually have a relationship that could entertain us more along the lines of Nick and Victoria, and less Nick and Adam. That said, when Lily came over to Nate’s and found her opportunity to confront Damian, it was an interesting twist as a viewer to wonder whose side we were on. Lily, armed with possibly misinformation from Victor, accused Damian of being fed recon on all things Winters months ago, but Damian seemed genuine in his denials. Damian’s explanation to Nate and Lily was that, yes, he’d heard of their names before in a business publication about Winters merging then uncoupling from Chancelor Industries a while ago. When Nate made the job offer, he asked his boss, Aristotle Dumas, about Winters, and he told him to check it out and see where it led, but never did he think it would be a personal connection to his mom and brother. Now, I’m not saying that Lily didn’t make some valid points, and yeah, Damian hasn’t done himself any favors by his ever-changing story, but in all the fray, Lily stormed off without finding out who Aristotle Dumas really is or what he’s up to.
