The Young and the Restless star Valarie Pettiford is giving thanks for her time when she was playing in Sophisticated Ladies

The Young and the Restless star Valarie Pettiford has in common with her character Amy that she's a singer! The actress, in fact, appeared on Broadway in Sophisticated Ladies back in the early 1980s. She recently shared some of that magical time with her friends and followers in honor of Thanksgiving!

Pettiford, who played Sheila Price on One Life to Live in the early 1990s, is best known for her the sitcom Half & Half and her role as Det. Courtney Walker on Another World. She currently also appears on The Family Business on BET+.

Earlier this year, Amy's health took a turn for the better after she underwent an experimental cancer treatment in Boston. Sadly, her son, Damian (Jermaine Rivers), died in France at Cane's (Billy Flynn) estate just as he and Amy were reconciling. Damian's half-brother, Nate (Sean Dominic), has told Amy to consider herself a member of his family.
