On The Young and the Restless, the mysterious billionaire and business tycoon, Aristotle Dumas, has yet to have their true identity revealed, but it’s coming soon.

Clues about Aristotle Dumas on The Young and the Restless

Okay, internet sleuths, let’s get down to business. We have some facts about the Count of Genoa City, and we’re tired of waiting. We want to know who Aristotle Dumas really is, and we want to know now! We’ve been given some hints, let’s add them all up.

According to Victor (Eric Braeden), he knows Aristotle Dumas. He said that he lurks in the shadows, then emerges to go after the same companies (presumably in the many Newman Enterprises acquisitions), that Victor wants. They have alternated on who has won out in their business ventures, but he’s been a formidable opponent. However, he quickly goes back into hiding, and Victor has yet to meet him in person or know his true identity.

Damian (Jermaine Rivers), however, knows Aristotle and is presumably quite close to him. He has been the face of Aristotle for years, pretending to own his companies and running them for him. Holden (Nathan Owens) most likely also knows Aristotle or knows who he is. Holden also works for the same companies as Damian and was part of the plan to pretend to be Damian. What throws us off here is that Victor told Lily that Aristotle gave information to Damian all about Winters long before coming to Genoa City — which means that he already knew who the key people at the company were.

Billy (Jason Thompson) knows Aristotle. He told Phyllis that he was contacted by him to be part of their new company as an investor and wants to help bring down Chancelor to get revenge on Victor. When Billy was in Paris, we saw him talking to someone in the middle of the night and asking them to get all the info on what Nikki had done with Chancelor since Victor bought it.

Who is Aristotle Dumas?

Okay, here we go. Aristotle is someone that enjoys going up against Victor for acquisitions, doesn’t like what he did to Billy at Chancelor, is willing to invest to help exact revenge, gave Damian a great opportunity, and trusts Damian and Holden with his secrets with the very people he seems to be targeting and helping in Genoa City.

I was hoping — loudly — for months that it was Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), and no, I’ve not yet been crushed that he’s not returning to Genoa City, but I think we need to seriously consider another option: Tucker McCall.

How could Tucker (Trevor St. John) be Aristotle — and why? According to the story of the Count of Monte Cristo, the man he’s trying to be has to redeem himself. When Tucker left, Ashley had everyone believing he had been physically abusive to her. Audra dumped him. His son, Devon, wanted nothing to do with him. He had a life and family in Genoa City, and no one liked him.

If he’s been watching, he would have seen Victor screw over Audra with Glissade, and take over his grandmother’s legacy, Chancellor Industries. He would have also watched Lily get hurt in the process, as well as Billy and Phyllis — and he’d have empathy for them wanting to redeem themselves.

Of notable timing, Tucker also knows Alan, Martin, and that entire saga as it went down in Paris. If Tucker is Aristotle, could he have to expose himself to save Traci?
