Greg Rikaart performs double soap duty during the day but will be showing his athletic side in November.
You can find Greg Rikaart on two different soaps on two different channels as he brings Leo Stark to life on a regular basis on Days of our Lives and still makes appearances as Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless. But, in November, Rikaart will be leaving LA to head to his native New York for a major event.
Rikaart announced the news on Instagram, saying, "Some exciting news to share. I'm running the New York City Marathon in November and raising money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Please help and donate at the link in my profile. Thank you! I'm very excited to be running and excited to be helping St. Jude's."

Rikaart grew up in New York City, specifically in the boroughs of Brooklyn and Staten Island. He made his soap debut as Kevin on Y&R in 2003. Through the years, Rikaart has worked to raise money for several charitable organizations, including The Trevor Project, which helps prevent suicide in LGBTQ+ youth.
Rikaart currently has a goal of raising $10,000 for St. Jude's before the November 3 marathon. St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital was founded in 1962 by singer and comedian Danny Thomas, who starred in Make Room for Daddy, later known as The Danny Thomas Show. It's mission is to foster scientific research into childhood diseases and cancer, as well as provide a safe and welcoming place for treatment. St. Jude's also makes sure that families never receive a bill for any services.
The New York City Marathon is the largest one in the world and was first run in 1970. Runners journey through all five NYC boroughs. Since 2006, it has raised $520 million for charity.
