It's been a minute, but soap fan Clarence will be back on The Young and the Restless before the end of the year.
Brad Sanders will reprise his role as the soap-loving Clarence when he makes a special appearance later this month.
CBS daytime television viewers will recognize Sanders as Clarence, described as "a cool, well-dressed character with an extensive hat collection" who provides a unique take on soap opera action.
Sanders, a Chicago native, attended Columbia College where he majored in television and radio production. He decided to become a comedian for three reasons: He always enjoyed making people laugh, he loved the nightlife, plus "if you're in show business, you get to go backstage."
He currently resides in Fayetteville, GA with his wife, the Reverend Joan Sanders. They have one daughter, Sadia Shamim Sanders.
Look for Clarence's return on December 27 -- and you can see more of Sanders in the upcoming movie musical, The Color Purple.
