The Young and the Restless has put up dozens of one-of-a-kind items -- and a VIP set tour -- on the auction block. Proceeds from the online-only auction benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
Have you ever wanted to own a piece of Genoa City? Have you wished you could take a tour of the Y&R studio? Now those hopes and dreams are possible thanks to a special month-long auction.
Sony Pictures Television, in association with Propstore, is auctioning over 65 lots of The Young and the Restless memorabilia to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
"Propstore is honored to help fans celebrate The Young and the Restless' 50th anniversary through this charitable auction, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer's Association," Chuck Costas, Propstore's Vice President of Business Development and Marketing said in a statement. "The cast, past and present, generously contributed to this auction by signing a number of props and costumes used to produce this classic series for fans to bid on and take home to become part of their cherished collections. We're also excited to give one Y&R fan and a guest an opportunity for the ultimate experience to see what it's like to tape an episode of Y&R in Los Angeles, plus visit with the cast and crew on the set."
