It takes a bad girl to recognize a bad girl, and The Young and the Restless' Hunter King says that her alter ego, Summer Newman, definitely has Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) sussed out -- and it's actually got her shaking!
CBS soap operas The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless just kicked off a big crossover event in which Summer Newman (Hunter King) visits Los Angeles to dig up dirt on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who recently relocated from L.A. to Genoa City. Summer is bound to find out some pretty serious stuff about her new rival -- but what she finds out about herself might be just as interesting.
In a new interview with TV Insider, King reveals that Sally has really gotten under Summer's skin -- more than the character is ever likely to let on. What's more, going toe to toe with Sally just may cause Summer to regress to her notorious immature ways.
"Summer may not want to admit this, but she may be threatened by this newcomer. Summer's been the 'bad girl' so she can likely sense one when she sees one," the actress shares. "I do feel that Summer has matured, but when someone like Sally comes along, old habits are going to resurface."

Fans will have to wait and see exactly what Summer unearths about Sally while she's in Los Angeles. B&B fans know it could end up being a long list of misdeeds, including faking a fatal illness. But will whatever Summer unearths about her nemesis convince her that Sally is dangerous?
"Yes, depending on what Summer finds out," King concludes. "After talking to Flo [Katrina Bowden], there might be a part of Summer that's a little bit scared of Sally -- but she'll never show it."
