The Young and the Restless has cast The Oval star Ptosha Storey and Love Thy Neighbor alum Leigh-Ann Rose as new Genoa City residents Naya Benedict and Imani Benedict.
Genoa City is upping its population with the addition of two new characters, reveals an official press release sent out today by The Young and the Restless.
Actress Ptosha Storey, who is currently a series regular on the BET drama The Oval, will be taking on the recurring role of Naya Benedict. The Dallas, Texas, native's past credits include Empire, If Loving You Is Wrong, Strong Medicine, and Numb3rs.
Storey took to Instagram a few days ago to share that she has started something new, teasing, "Great day on the set of my next project! Grateful to be working in spite of this Covid -19 season. Can't wait to share this one!"
