The Young and the Restless is bringing Lauren Woodland back as attorney Brittany Hodges, who is rumored to be representing Nick (Joshua Morrow) in the custody battle over Christian.
It's Adam versus Nick on The Young and the Restless, and the soap opera is bringing back somebody who is strong enough to get in the middle of the epic battle: attorney Brittany Hodges.
Lauren Woodland is reprising her role as the capable lawyer, who will likely be returning to Genoa City to represent Nick (Joshua Morrow) in his fight against Adam (Mark Grossman) for custody of Christian. Seeing that Adam has resident attorney Michael (Christan LeBlanc) under his thumb, Nick will need to call on someone to help him win the difficult case.

Meanwhile, Joseph Phillips is reprising his role as Judge Sanders, who, as viewers may recall, chastised both Nicholas and his brother the last time he made an appearance on the CBS soap opera -- and promptly gave temporary custody of Christian to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Sanders is obviously a no-nonsense judge, so it's anybody's guess as to who will win custody of poor little Christian this go-around. Considering both of the tot's would-be fathers have failed to grow up since Sanders' scolding, it'll be interesting to see where the story goes from here...
Watch for Woodland and Phillips to return to the Y&R canvas on Tuesday, August 27.
