The CW series iZombie has chosen The Young and the Restless actress Kelly Kruger (Mackenzie Browning) to guest star in its fifth and final season.
If Kelly Kruger's quick January appearance as The Young and the Restless' Mackenzie Browning wasn't enough to satiate your appetite, you're in luck: the actress will be appearing in an upcoming episode of iZombie.

The CW drama, which is loosely based on the DC comic book series of the same name, follows medical resident Olivia 'Liv' Moore (Rose McIver), a zombie who must satisfy her cravings for brains or risk becoming stupid and homicidal. In order not to kill innocent humans, she eats the brains of corpses from the hospital morgue, but in doing so, she gets flashbacks from their lives -- which enables her to help find their killers.

Kruger is set to appear as a character named Vanessa Collins in episode twelve of the series' fifth and final season, which will debut on Thursday, May 2. Watch for her episode to air sometime in June.
In addition to her role as Y&R's Mackenzie, Kruger also briefly played the role of a publicist named Eva on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her other television credits include Knight Rider, The Bold Type, and Bones.
