The Young and the Restless' Marla Adams (Dina Mergeron) has an extremely peaceful way to relax after tough days in Genoa City.
Soap opera stars have a plethora of routines and activities to help them relax after particularly long and tough days at work, from taking baths to reading novels to playing with their kids. So, what does The Young and the Restless star Marla Adams (Dina Mergeron) do to unwind after a long day?
Though she has mentioned imbibing on after-work vodka cocktails in previous interviews, that's actually not her favorite way to unwind after a stressful day in Genoa City. As she recently told Soap Central, her ultimate way to relax is visiting the sea.
"I'm an ocean girl," she reports about how she finds calm during whirlwind times. "I was born in Ocean City, New Jersey -- ten miles south of Atlantic City and just two blocks from the Atlantic. Now I live two blocks from the Pacific in Santa Monica."

Adams shares that she definitely takes advantage of living so close to the water and has done so for as long as she can remember.
"I have to go to the sea to find my center, and the rolling waves just keep it going," she explains. "When I'm by the ocean, the future seems ongoing, and I feel like I have been born all over again."
