The Young and the Restless just dropped a thrilling new video teaser announcing the return of Thad Luckinbill's J.T. Hellstrom.
HELL, YEAH! (Or perhaps in this case, HELLSTROM, YEAH!) Just in time for the holidays, Thad Luckinbill is reprising his role as The Young and the Restless' J.T. Hellstrom.
The CBS soap opera dropped a gripping new video teaser that announces the exciting return of the character who is both the ex-husband of Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and the dad of Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu).
"Sometimes when you leave, you realize that you're not done with what you left behind," Luckinbill -- who originated the role of J.T. in 1999 -- says with a sexy growl.

J.T. was last seen in Genoa City back in 2010 when he announced that he was taking his and Victoria's son, Reed, to Washington DC in order to get a fresh start with his new wife, Mackenzie (Clemintine Ford). Reed returned to his hometown unannounced earlier this year and complained to Victoria that he'd rather live with her because J.T. and Mac were having a new baby and moving to Poland.
Y&R hasn't released any info about what exactly brings J.T. back to town (though some questionable sites claimed his return would be brought about by Reed perishing in the Underground fire), but Luckinbill is thrilled to have the opportunity to reunite with his former soap opera family (which includes Heinle, to whom he was married for ten years and with whom he shares two children).
"I'm excited to be returning to The Young and the Restless and once again working with its talented cast and crew," he tells Soap Opera Digest. "J.T. has always been one of my favorite roles and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for him."
Viewers can watch J.T.'s return on Tuesday, December 12.
