Former Family Feud host John O'Hurley says he's pretty sure a brawl between Y&R's Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Bryan Cranston (ex-Dean Stella) would be epic.
Actor John O'Hurley hosted the classic game show Family Feud for several years during the early 2000s, and though he saw his fair share of battles on the syndicated series, there's one he would have paid to see before exiting the show in 2010.
The Maine native spoke with Closer Weekly and revealed that his dream celebrity match-up involves two soap opera stars.
"Bryan Cranston [ex-Dean Stella, One Life to Live; Breaking Bad] against Peter Bergman [Jack Abbott] from The Young and the Restless," he shares about which pair of daytime gents he'd love to see go at it. "Two of the smartest actors I've ever dealt with -- I mean, savvy. I think that would be interesting, and I think they would end up in a fight in the parking lot after."

As entertaining as that would have been, O'Hurley admits that it's one of the only extremely wild things he'd have liked to see on the game show. In fact, he left Family Feud because the feel of the series got a little too raunchy for his tastes.
"I had a wonderful time. It was time to put it to bed. When I left the show, I had kind of done my run. It was getting to be like a penis joke," he explained on Facebook Live while promoting his latest flick, Swing Away. "It was no longer becoming 'family,' it was becoming more about how overt can you be? And I said, 'That's not what I want. That's not what I do.' So I had my time with it, and it was fun while I did it, but I'll leave that to someone who is more comfortable."
