Jess Walton returns to Y&R

After a brief hiatus, Jess Walton reveals she'll soon be heading back to The Young and the Restless.

Good news for fans of The Young and the Restless' Jess Walton and her alter ego, Jill Abbott: the actress is returning to Genoa City.

Currently on a short hiatus home in Oregon for the birth of her first granddaughter, Walton told Soap Opera Digest that she'll back to the Y&R studios to continue her time as Jill "in two weeks."

As fans may recall, Jill and Colin (Tristan Rogers) skipped town back in March. Walton took to social media to reassure fans that she'd be back, but Rogers had a different story.

"Glad you all liked the end of that storyline. There are no plans for this couple to reappear so they'll be away for awhile," he wrote at the time.
