Daytime alum Steve Burton (ex-Dylan McAvoy, The Young and the Restless; ex-Jason Morgan, General Hospital) launches new health and nutrition line called Burton Nutrition.
Fan favorite daytime actor Steve Burton (ex-Dylan McAvoy, The Young and the Restless; ex-Jason Morgan, General Hospital) has bowed out of the soap opera world, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been keeping busy since walking away from Genoa City earlier this year.
Not only did the actor partner with GH's Derk Cheetwood (Max Giambetti) to launch an acting workshop called Hollywood Schooled, but he also lived up to his promise that he was going to launch a health and nutrition supplement line. Called Burton Nutrition, the collection of health products and supplements dropped over the weekend via the actor's new website, BurtonNutrition.com.
"I'm really enjoying my time off because obviously I get to spend more time with my family, but I get to focus on some other things that I'm really passionate about.... A lot of you already know that I have a huge passion for health and fitness, and I really have a passion for helping people achieve their goals," he shares in a video emailed to subscribers. "I just think that's awesome to watch people transform and achieve what they set their mind to."

Burton goes on to share that his family leads a healthy lifestyle. In fact, both his wife and his brother-in-law are certified in nutrition, and the actor is on his way, too.
"I'm right in the middle of my certification now for nutrition, and I'm super excited about that," he adds before announcing that he and his family have started Burton Nutrition. "It's something that I've wanted to do for years. I just know it's going to help people achieve a healthier lifestyle and just feel better about themselves."
The first product the company is offering is a protein shake called the Get Fit shake that acts as a 3-in-1 product.
"You can use it as a meal replacement, because we have make my shake a meal' recipes that are dietician approved," Burton explains. "You can make it a snack if you're on a great meal plan already and you need a snack... and for recovery, because a lot of people already work out and want a protein shake for recovery."
What's more, Burton Nutrition will soon offer challenges, social community sections, VIP membership, and live weekly webinars so your journey to becoming healthy, happy, and fit doesn't have to be accomplished alone.
