The Young and the Restless' Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) has some selfish reasons for wanting to bring her Real Housewives costar Erika Girardi back to Genoa City.
The Young and the Restless' Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) admits that she was stressed to the max when her The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Erika Girardi appeared in Genoa City last December. But she's willing to let bygones be bygones.
"Having Erika on the show was a little stressful just because I had every confidence in her, but nobody else really did, because they didn't know what I felt," she explained to The Daily Dish. "At the 11th hour, I was like, 'Ooh, I'm sure she's gonna do well, but what if she doesn't? This is gonna be really bad.'"

Fortunately Girardi "nailed it... one take each time," and Davidson says the powers that be gave her more material than originally planned.
"They gave her a little bit more than maybe just one line. It could've been just one line. She could've just walked through and picked up a glass and been a waitress and that would have been it," Eileen says. "The fact that she actually could act and was good at delivering stuff, what they needed in a scene, they decided to write her a little bit more."
With that in mind, Davidson would love for her RHOBH costar to head back to Y&R -- albeit for slightly selfish reasons that have nothing to do with Girardi's performance.
"After I saw [her episode] air, I was on the phone, 'Come on, you guys, write her something again. It would be so much fun,'" Eileen shares. "My character on the soap, actually, you never see where she lives. So I'm like, she needs a house. Let's have Erika show her a house. Erika's a real estate agent. They have coffee. We'll see. You never know."
