The Young and the Restless has recast the role of Scott Grainger, with Daniel Hall now playing the role of Lauren's son.
Lauren's son, Scott Grainger, is heading back to Genoa City, and The Young and the Restless character will have a whole new look when he returns later this spring.
Soap Opera Digest reports the CBS soap has recast the role previously played by Blair Redford (ex-Miguel, Passions), with Guiding Light alum Daniel Hall (ex-Jack) now portraying the character last seen in 2006.
Hall, whose other previous credits include Mad Men, Graceland, Mixology, and Quarry, has already started taping as Scott, but no other details have been released at this time. Though Scott last appeared on the canvas in 2006, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) took a trip to Toronto to visit her elder son in 2010.
