Y&R searching for stunning Asian to play new role

The Young and the Restless is on the hunt for a gorgeous Asian-American to play a new Genoa City resident.

A new character is heading to The Young and the Restless.

The CBS soap has released a casting call for an Asian-American actress in her late 20s to mid 30s to play the role of Fawn, Soap Opera Digest reports in its latest issue.

The role is described as a "stunning" and "ambitious" woman who will appear on a recurring basis but still have a "very large" presence on the canvas.

At this time, there's no word on when the new Asian character is slated to hit Genoa City.
