Y&R alum Tatyana Ali marries Stanford professor

The Young and the Restless' Tatyana Ali walked down the aisle this weekend. She and husband Dr. Vaughn Rasberry met online, and the two are expecting their first child.

The Young and the Restless alum Tatyana Ali (ex-Roxanne) is officially off the market. The Image Award-winning actress, best known to non-daytime viewers as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's Ashley Banks, married her boyfriend of nearly two years, Dr. Vaughn Rasberry, at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday afternoon in front of approximately 120 guests.

"It was truly a magical and heartfelt ceremony," Michael Russo, Ali's wedding planner, told Entertainment Tonight. "Tatyana was glowing as she walked down the aisle."

The now Mr. and Mrs. Rasberry met through a matchmaking method that is commonplace nowadays: online dating.

"Vaughn and I met on eHarmony!" Ali revealed to ET earlier this year. "It was my first time dating online. We wrote letters for months before we decided to Skype. And then, of course, met."

Ali appeared on Y&R on a recurring basis from 2007 to 2013. Beginning in 2011, Ali won four consecutive NAACP Image Awards in the Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series category.

Rasberry is an assistant professor at Stanford. According to the university's website, he "studies African American literature, global Cold War culture, postcolonial theory, and philosophical theories of modernity." His current book project, Race and the Totalitarian Century: Geopolitics in the Black Literary Imagination, is forthcoming from Harvard University Press.

Ali is currently pregnant with the couple's first child. The actress has not disclosed the baby's gender or when she's due.

UPDATE:Ali took to Twitter to announce, "We're hitched! Martinellis [sparkling cider] on me!"
