Multiple Y&R Emmy winner lands primetime gig

The Young and the Restless' Hunter King (Summer Newman) has landed a guest spot on CBS's Life In Pieces.

The Young and the Restless' Hunter King, who's won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Summer Newman, will soon be heading to primetime.

The actress has booked a guest-starring role on CBS's new sitcom, Life In Pieces, a family comedy told through the separate stories of different family members.

King will be appearing on the Monday, October 19, episode of the series, which stars Colin Hanks (King Kong; Orange County) and Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad).
