Elizabeth Hendrickson officially moving forward with new web series

Former Y&R star Elizabeth Hendrickson is forging ahead with a comedic Web series that puts fans in the driver's seat.

The Young and the Restless' Elizabeth Hendrickson (ex-Chloe Mitchell) may not have taken home the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress this year like critics and fans thought she would, but she's celebrating a major win, despite that: she officially reached her Kickstarter goal today for her new Web series, 30 Days Max, meaning the project will definitely be seeing the light of day.

"I was hoping it would happen, and I knew in my heart that it would, and I'm so thankful for it happening even quicker than it was expected. It's so awesome," the actress tells Soap Central.

As Soap Central previously reported, the comedic series -- written by the actress and her cousin, Melissa Lux -- is about a girl who, fresh out of a bad relationship, decides to try online dating for 30 days. The stories will be based off of Hendrickson's own dating experiences, as well as those of her friends and family. "I have such a huge pool of stories that this could just go on forever -- which it won't! But we're just exited to tell a lot of great stories and horrible stories in the best way that we know how," she says.

Funny enough, the actress woke up this morning, having no idea today would be such a big day. In fact, she explains she thought the exact opposite. "It's funny that I met the goal today, because I just had my recurring nightmare that I've had. It's the only recurring nightmare that I've had, and it started when I was on All My Children [as Frankie and Maggie Stone]," she explains. "I show up to production, to the show, and the show turns into a musical, and I don't have any music. I know the play, I know everything, but I don't have music. And for those who know me, I've always wanted to be on Broadway, and I want to sing and dance, and in my mind, it's like, 'But it's my moment to shine, and I can't because I don't have everything!' And it's so weird, because this whole time I've had this script [for 30 Days Max] sitting in my lap, which has been almost a year, maybe like nine months, and this was the first time I've had the nightmare... and I was like, 'Oh my God, no!!' But then I woke up this morning, and it was funded, and I thought, 'Well, I guess you've got to make this happen!'"
