Tricia Cast and Michael Fairman will return to The Young and the Restless in August for a special two-day remembrance ceremony for Katherine Chancellor.
Two Y&R favorites will return to mark the one-year anniversary of Katherine Chancellor's death. The gathering, which will brought about by a request from Katherine, will help resolve one of the show's longest-running stories of the past year.
TV Guide reports that Tricia Cast (Nina Webster) and Michael Fairman (Murphy) will return to The Young and the Restless in late-August as part of a remembrance story. Both characters have been off-screen since last year; Murphy has been living in a cabin bequeathed to him and Nina has been living in Los Angeles.
Emmy winner Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor) died May 8, 2013, at the age of 84. The official cause of death was listed as advanced Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). For more on the life of Jeanne Cooper, please click here.
The two-day remembrance celebration will air August 26 and 27.
