The Young and the Restless has founds its Esmerelda, but should one Genoa City resident try to avoid her?
The Young and the Restless announced last month that it was seeking a 19- to 23-year-old actress for the recurring role of Esmerelda. The CBS soap has now found someone for the part.

Soaps In Depth reports that newcomer Briana Nicole Henry has been tapped for the role that the original casting call described as a "fun girl [who] is always helpful in showing a 'newbie' the ropes."
The newbie Esmerelda will cross paths with is Summer Newman -- and the two young women were reportedly find themselves embroiled in some hijinks.
Henry makes her Y&R debut on December 12.
