Christel Khalil, talent agency settle their differences

Christel Khalil her former talent agency have reached an agreement that puts an end to their dueling law suits. Khalil claimed under-representation, and Mavrick said the Emmy winner was intentionally tarnishing their reputation.

It was one of the most unusual lawsuits to come out of the world of soaps recently -- and what made it even more of a head-scratcher was that it was real.

In August, Emmy winner Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) filed a breach of contract suit against her talent agency, Mavrick Artists, alleging, among other things, that the agency sent her on an audition for a role on The Young and the Restless while she was still under contract with the CBS soap as Lily.

Mavrick fired back, saying that Khalil's claims were "meritless and [a] misguided attack on the reputation of the agency."

Both sides have now apparently worked out their differences.

"The Parties are pleased to confirm that they have resolved all of their claims against each other, they wish each other success in their future endeavors, and the action has been dismissed with prejudice," attorneys for Khalil told The Wrap.

Khalil reportedly left Mavrick before filing her suit, which led to Mavrick claiming that Khalil owed them "in the ballpark of $20,000" in commission.

The details of the settlement were not released.
