Billy J. Miller lands another primetime role

Emmy winner Billy J. Miller has signed on for a role in an upcoming episode of ABC's primetime drama Castle. Miller joined The Young and the Restless in 2008. He also previously appeared on All My Children.

Billy J. Miller (Billy Abbott) has landed another primetime role. The Emmy-winning actor will appear in an upcoming episode of the ABC drama Castle.

Castle follows best-selling mystery novelist Richard Castle and NYPD Detective Kate Beckett as they solve various unusual crimes in New York City. Miller will play a hot-headed banker who finds himself caught up in a hostage situation.

In 2011, Miller had a recurring role in the primetime drama Ringer.

Miller began his daytime run in 2007 on ABC's All My Children. Miller debuted on The Young and the Restless in September 2008, becoming the fourth actor in six years to play the role of Billy. In 2010, Miller earned his first Daytime Emmy, winning the Outstanding Supporting Actor trophy. Earlier this year, he won his second trophy in the category.

An exact airdate for Miller's episode of Castle hasn't been revealed, but an ABC spokesperson tells Soap Central it is tentatively slated to air in October.
