Y&R casting Latino character

The Young and the Restless is looking to add to the diversity of its canvas. The show has put out a casting call for a Latino character by the name of Ricky.

The Young and the Restless is looking to add some characters to its canvas. In its latest casting call, the CBS soap has put out a call for "Ricky."

Ricky is described as a "gorgeous, sexy, Latino model" in his early 20s. Y&R's casting department is hoping to hear from models who can act as well as actors from other countries.

As soap fans know, the character name given in a casting call is not necessarily the name that character will have when he or she does finally pop up on screen.

The role would start taping in early August.
