Y&R names new producer, co-head writer

Meg Bennett (ex-Julia Newman) will return to The Young and the Restless later this month. Bennett first appeared as Victor Newman's first wife from 1980 to 1981 and then again 1982 to 1984.

In addition to her role on Y&R, Bennett has also appeared from 1974 to 1977 as Liza Walton Sentell on Search For Tomorrow and as Megan Richardson on Santa Barbara in 1989. Bennett has also worked behind-the-scenes in the soap world. She served as co-head writer of General Hospital up until late 2000.

Bennett makes her first return appear on February 15th.
