Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

The big thing today on Beyond the Gates today was Kat's birthday party. Everyone was in attendance, Ted, Nicole, Anita and Vernon and even Dani made an appearance. That alone made Vernon and Anita very happy to see their daughter leave the house and have some fun. Her fun act fooled everyone, but as soon as she got home, it was straight into the vodka and necking a glass straight. The party surprises didn't end there. Nicole hadnt added the event to her calendar and who showed up? Eva.

This time it wasn't intentional and Eva was mortified, not as much as Kat was at seeing Eva. Kate told her to leave after hearing her trash her name to her date. Now correct me if i’m wrong but isn’t Tomas upgrading from being a date to being her boyfriend? Everyone else refers to him as that. Eva was genuinely upset though and Ted and Eva had a really nice moment where he hugged her and said he knew she was robbed of moments like this and having a birth father present in her life, but she could be a part of their family anytime. Kats faces a moral dilemma now, between helping her mom exact revenge on Ted but that will come at a cost. Eva’s deception at being the helpful assistant will also get blown up and where will that leave Eva? Ted would have a financial obligation but would he want her around? If Ted can see that she was manipulated by Leslie he might take her in still and leave Leslie out in the cold…plotting revenge again. I Cannot wait for the anniversary party episode.
