Welcome to Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Beyond the Gates
Today on Beyond the Gates, Bill asked for a private meeting with Tomas in his office. When they were alone, or so they thought, Bill basically asked Tomas to spy on the women in their committee meetings, which, as Tomas pointed out, are supposed to be confidential. Bill scoffed at Tomas’s hesitance and stated that he could ask another lawyer at the firm. When Tomas reiterated what Bill was asking of him, Hayley then came into view and was seen clearly eavesdropping. Bill told Tomas that if he wanted to pass on the opportunity, to say the word, but he also let Tomas know in no uncertain terms that completing this task would ensure that he would make partner. However, Kat (Colby Muhammad) warned Tomas before their meeting that Bill is ruthless and not above crossing several lines simultaneously. So, Hayley not only heard Bill proposition Tomas to do a dirty task, but she also heard Tomas accept this offer, even if slightly begrudgingly. So is Tomas taking a turn for the worse? We're already side-eyeing Tomas for, seemingly, playing the field with both Kat and Eva, but this? This could be disastrous for many. Bill smoothed things over with Hayley later, stating that he simply wants to be in the know with what is going on in his firm, especially since the lawsuit could’ve ruined him. Hayley accepts this explanation, but will she recall Dani’s advice that Bill is only ever looking out for himself? Will Hayley tell the women about Bill’s plans? Will Tomas really go through with the inside spy work? And what will Bill do with the information he may potentially get from Tomas? Surely, Bill doesn't want to do something like this, or for word of it to get out, especially to Naomi, just as they're beginning to reconcile. This doesn't seem like a good idea from any angle that you look at it, which will make for great entertainment. Let's gather our popcorn!
