What to expect on Beyond the Gates
Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) is set to receive an unexpected visitor Tuesday, which could be her ex Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett), who wants to talk about the lawsuit their daughter Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is bringing against his firm. Bill could be trying to seek support from Dani by telling her what could happen to their daughter if she pursues this line of action. The other possible person is Andre (Sean Freeman). He’s avoiding Ashley (Jen Jacob) now, but he still needs feminine attention, and some time alone with Dani could be just what the doctor ordered.
Beyond the Gates, Naomi Gets Back In Control
Naomi needs to do damage control after Bill blindsided her yesterday by giving her the wrong time for their client counsel meeting. Bill had made it clear to the women involved that their best course of action was to settle. Rather than see themselves humiliated in court, the ladies tell Naomi that it’s time to stop thinking they can win and it’s time to settle. Seething, Naomi needs to bury the anger for now and take control of this case before it gets away from her, and this is just what she does on Tuesday.
Jacob Takes A Stand

Detective Jacob (Jibre Hordges) saw his partner Malone (Darryl W. Handy) take money from casino boss and general shady man Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and suspected that his partner was a dirty cop. Sick of his hazing, he confronted Malone, who just told him he saw himself in Jacob and wanted to get the measure of him and see if he could cut it in Robbery Homicide. Jacob just wants the truth and goes to his father, Police Chief Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik). Elon tells Jacob that he knows he can fight his own battles, but not to fight this one. Elon was serious and warned that if Jacob didn't leave it alone, he would be assigned a new partner. On Tuesday, Jacob will take a stand against Detective Malone, but will this lead him closer to the truth that he already thinks he knows? Or will this just put Jacob in the firing line? The thin blue line could get a whole lot thinner without his father being able to help him.
