Beyond the Gates spoilers for Friday April 4th: Andre begins interviews, and Vanessa has a bombshell dropped on her

What to expect on Beyond the Gates

After the dinner at Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Derek's (Ben Gavin), Andre (Sean Freeman) is quite determined to interview with Derek, and he IS doing his best to avoid Ashley; he still feels uncomfortable around her, and the matter of the near kiss still hasn't left either of their minds. Andre leaving the dinner early and for what Derek and Ashley both believe to be a booty call had Ashley feeling a way. On Friday's episode, Andre will begin interviews for his documentary. This will put him closer to Ashley. Will he be able to resist, or will the temptation be too great not to flirt?

A friend in need is a pest

Chelsea (Rhonnirose Mantilla) recently had it out with her mother about leaving modelling and moving to be a designer, and he plans for a handbag line to rival the Kardashians. Further, Chelsea didn't want Dani (Karla Mosley) to be involved, not as a “mumager,” and to let her do this herself, with her partner Kat (Colby Muhammed). This made Dani feel dumped, replaced, just like Bill had done to her. The two made up, but Dani still felt rejected. On Friday's episode, Chelsea has a change of heart. This could mean she wants her mom involved, but I doubt it. This is more likely to be regarding what Hayley (Marquita Goings) and Chelsea spoke about and how Dani is out of control and needs help.

Vanessa is naive or shrewd

Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) had another meeting with shady casino owner Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), this time at the prestigious country club. On her arrival, she noticed her husband, Doug (Jason Graham), seated talking animatedly with his buddy Randy (Maurice P. Kerry). Something was going on there. Joey talked about houses but was openly flirting with Vanessa. Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) arrived and saw the two together. Later, Nicole and her husband were talking about it. Nicole thought that maybe Joey was innocently interested in realty and was doing something sweet, purchasing a home for his mother, as Vanessa had told her. Ted (Maurice Johnson), looking serious now, told Nicole that Joey's mom died last year. On Friday's episode, Nicole is going to drop a bombshell on Vanessa, Joey is up to no good and she should steer well clear, Nicole also knows something is up with Vanessa’s husband doug, between the two of them they could probably put it together that Doug has a gambling problem and a mounting debt.
