Beyond the Gates spoilers April 15th: Martin goes up against Smitty and Naomi's surprise isn't well received

Here are your spoilers for Beyond the Gates on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025

What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett) had a visit from his daughter Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) but in her capacity as a lawyer. Naomi was there to call Bill out on his stalling techniques and that they were not going to fly. Once again Bill had an answer for Naomi, saying that the time he was keeping free was for a Dr appointment. Naomi being concerned made sure that Bill would keep any appointment made and do whatever the Dr said regarding tests needed. Naomi left and sought out her husband Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and after talking with him about the case, the fallout for the firm, and her relationship with Bill and her father health, she returned to Bills office and told him she would no longer represent her clients and withdrew herself as legal counsel for them. On Tuesdays episode Naomi’s unexpected legal maneuver rattles her fragile peace with Bill. This should be good news for Bill, as now he doesn't have to worry about what a victory in the legal battle will cause for his family.

Parent vs parent

If having Samantha (Najah Jackson) wanting to be a model wasn't bad enough for the household, Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) being bullied at school threatens the family harmony as well. Martin (Brandon Claybon) was given some parenting advice from Ted (Maurice Johnson) which was that sometimes kids need their parents to trust that they can take care of their own problems and not to make them feel like they always need help. In Tuesday's episode, Tyrrells crisis puts Martin and Smitty’s parenting styles against each other. Will this lead to more arguments? The pair have only just reconnected as a couple after Smitty felt shut out.

Dani drags Andre in with her

Dani (Karla Mosley) was about to burst into tears when her father Vernon (Clifton Davis) arrived to see if she was ok, calling it fatherly intuition. The two talked about having a bad year and that Dani shouldn't let Bill dictate her happiness. Dani made a convincing show of being ok in front of her father and at Kat’s party but after, she was straight into the vodka. This normally means a call to Andre as well. In Tuesday's episode Dani’s escalating struggles pull Andre further into her dangerous orbit. Andre likes being the one she calls, it makes him feel good, and makes him see that a playboy lifestyle isn't the one he wants, but Dani isnt after a long term solution with him. Andre needs to keep himself in check lest he find himself being the man he doesn't want to be.
