Here's what you missed on Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Anita longed for her singing days and rapped for Chelsea, who continued to avoid telling Dani that she was quitting modeling. Dani ordered orange juice, but when Vernon inadvertently sipped it, he discovered it had vodka in it. Dani was supportive when Chelsea finally expressed her desire to change careers – however, in private, Dani downed more vodka and cried, looking at an old magazine cover of hers. Nicole soothed Dani and suggested that she was codependent since Dani still wanted Bill back despite how badly he had treated her.
Jacob's radar pinged when his stony partner, Marcel, was suddenly nice to him; Jacob didn't know that both Marcel and Jacob's father, Elon, were working for Joey. Vanessa was intrigued by Joey when he introduced himself, claiming he wanted her help in buying a house, which made Diego jealous. Doug was also uncomfortable when Joey approached him and Vanessa at Uptown; Doug tried to warn Vanessa off Joey, then cut their evening short to go to the casino. Joey slipped a set of rigged cards to the dealer of Doug's game so Doug would lose big and be even more beholden to him.
Mike told dirty jokes and again commented on how hot Hayley was, angering Bill. Hayley approached Jacob with an offer to work together to reunite Naomi and Bill, but Jacob turned Hayley down. Hayley became suspicious when she caught Bill hugging another woman at the office after hours, later accepting his explanation that he was playing the woman to ultimately crush her in court.
Naomi sought advice from both Jacob and Anita as to whether or not she should file her sexual harassment lawsuit against Bill's law firm. After Naomi did, Bill tried to shake her resolve by suggesting she was only representing Mike's alleged victims as a way of punishing Bill professionally since she couldn't do so personally. Naomi held her ground, even when Hayley confronted her and promised to help Bill put Naomi out of business if Naomi proceeded with the suit.
Martin experienced flashbacks of an event that was hazy to him. Anita implied that someone they didn't trust knew Martin's secret, and she and Vernon ordered Martin not to run for president. Martin defied his grandparents, insinuating that he would indeed campaign. After Smitty overheard the Duprees and learned of Martin's ambitions, Martin tried to smooth his husband's ruffled feathers, with Smitty worrying that they weren't able to share their dreams with each other. Smitty became irate when he also discovered that Martin had told a prospective employer that Smitty wasn't interested in a job; Smitty wondered what other secrets Martin was keeping from him.
After the Richardson-Smiths agreed to communicate more openly and be more involved in their kids' lives, Tyrell came home with a laceration on his face. Smitty and Martin talked to Tyrell and Samantha separately, but the details in their story about Tyrell falling off his bike didn't match up. Tyrell admitted to Samantha that a jock had punched him because another student had sent the jock's girlfriend a photo of a scantily-clad Tyrell.
Eva flirted with Tom again, while Kat sought his assurance that she wasn't weird for being a virgin. Kat confessed to Chelsea that she had fantasized about Tom and was considering having her first time with him.
Eva again tried and failed to talk Leslie out of exposing Ted at his anniversary party. Kat was approached by “Anna” – really Leslie in a new disguise – who worked to convince Kat to befriend Eva. Ted witnessed the conversation and privately offered Leslie an additional $50,000 to leave him and his family alone. Kat, who had installed a security camera in Nicole's office, watched Eva open Nicole's file cabinet and read about “Sherry” on her monitor. Kat raced to the house and just missed Eva, who deleted the footage from Kat's phone before Kat could show it to Ted and Nicole.
