A new Zombie TV series has made fans discuss the plot, and this time, we're talking about Zomvivor on Netflix. Right from the beginning, the story takes a horrifying turn when a group of university students encounters zombies.

While some try to fight them, others fear losing their lives. The series is being compared to All of Us Are Dead, which is another hit Korean drama focused on high-schoolers fighting zombies inside the campus after a science teacher's experiment went wrong, and it led to an outbreak no one saw coming.

In Zomvivor, a mysterious illness spreads in a university and later affects the people in the city, transforming them into zombies. When the students learn about the outbreak, they have no choice but to shield themselves inside the campus and find ways to stay alive.

The main characters in the series include San, Nonn, Torn, Pao and others who complete the story. Find out what happened in the end, and was the group able to handle the situation below?

The final episode in Zomvivor then spirals into complete chaos as the survivors' idea to understand the zombies completely falls apart. In the group's effort to capture Aunty Jit, they accidentally end up killing her which, of course, sends the situation into catastrophe.

With no other choice, Ning agrees to inject herself with Aunty Jit’s blood, hoping it may explain how the infection operates in human bodies. This disturbing turn is interrupted by Jean, who halts her in her tracks and points his gun at Nonn, questioning allegiances and blaming Ning for their failed mission.

During this standoff, a zombie attack breaks out, forcing everyone to flee. On the rooftop, a helicopter lands carrying Dr. Wiroj, the scientist linked to the source of the epidemic. He orders the helicopter to land the moment Wiroj sees Ning, and then he only allows Ning on the aircraft, leaving the others behind.

Nonn decides to stay with his friends and becomes infected with Aunty Jit’s infected blood instead of boarding the helicopter. His choice is not just an act of bravery, but also a way to prove that he isn't dependent on anyone. As seen in episode 7 of Zomvivor, Nonn is fully transformed into a zombie and is surrounded by others who seem to register him as their new leader.

A cure is likely developed in the Zomvivor finale but Ning is left feeling guilty

In the finale of Zomvivor, Ning and Dr. Wiroj make their way out of the hospital where they have been held for one month. During that time, it looks like they made an antidote only for people infected recently.

However, Ning feels guilty as she remembers leaving her friends behind, and Nonn gave his life for everyone else. The survivors from the college will certainly not make it easy for her when she returns for a visit, but Ning also realizes she has to come back for the sake of Nonn and her others.

The story also reveals a huge family secret: Nonn is actually the son of Wiroj and Kanchana, meaning Ning and Nonn are half-siblings. Nonn does not know this yet, but that revelation is sure to start an emotional ride in a potential season 2.

And while Nonn has turned into a zombie, he might recover. Previously in Zomvivor, Lilly's friends communicated with her as she was infected, suggesting there may be some sort of human consciousness left. And if this turns out to be true, then there's definitely a chance for Nonn to become human again.

As of now, there's no update that Zomvivor has been renewed for a Season 2. However, the ending has left many questions unanswered, like what will happen to Kanchana now that she's a hybrid. At the same time, some students were still fighting the zombies on the campus, using everything they had.
