Ronen Rubinstein portrays Tyler Kennedy "TK" Strand in the popular series 9-1-1: Lone Star. He is the son of Captain Owen Strand and a dual fighter/paramedic. Throughout the series, the paramedic's status as a recovering addict has long been debated, as he remains sober from opioids following an overdose just before the events of the series.
The last time fans heard from him, he had left the firehouse to marry Carlos Reyes, Rafael Silva in season 4. 9-1-1: Lone Star is FOX's procedural drama that follows the personal and professional lives of first responders in Austin, Texas. The series is created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, and is a spin-off of 9-1-1.

TK Married Carlos when we last saw him in 9-1-1: Lone Star
TK and Carlos have been a long time in the making, beginning their romance at the end of the first season of 9-1-1: Lone Star. Throughout the series, they had battled some of the worst atrocities and yet always found their way back to each other.
It certainly seemed that the show wanted the audience to believe that this was a couple that was meant to be, and so it turned out to be, as the two got engaged and married in season 4. But, what came as a shock was the murder of Carlos' father, Gabriel in Season 4.
Season 5 opens with Carlos as Texas Ranger, carrying on his father's legacy. But, Gabriel's killer is still out there. The murder case of Gabriel is still unsolved, and looking at Carlos' search for answers, this relationship with TK could be damaged by their problems.
However, they have managed to overcome all these problems in the past. Hopefully, the final episodes of the series will see them working together to bring justice to Gabriel.
