Kaitlin Olson's acting career has been spanning for years, and the actress is best recognized for playing Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds in FX's hit sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia since 2005. The show aired on FX for almost sixteen seasons, and Olson has appeared in more than a hundred episodes of the sitcom.

To date, Dee Reynolds is the longest role Kaitlin Olson has ever played on TV, and now she's seen playing another engaging role in ABC's High Potential. Her previous projects include The Drew Carey Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Punk'd, Miss Match, Family Guy, and Out of Practice.

Apart from starring in various TV shows, Kaitlin Olson lent her voice to the Comedy Central animated series Brickleberry, by voicing Ethel. The actress married her It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-star Rob McElhenney in 2008 and the couple share two children.

While talking about High Potential in an interview with The Wrap, Kaitlin Olson mentioned being intrigued by the script of the show. The actress had doubts about what to do next after her famous role in the FX sitcom, and Drew Goddard's show turned out to be everything she desired. Olson said:

"It’s so hard to balance a character and heart and soul with a dramatic procedural — it just needs a certain intelligence, talent, and creativity to be able to do that, and I just thought he did it so seamlessly."

Olson was impressed to learn how there's a perfect balance between character depth and emotional complexity, which makes Morgan a standout character. High Potential is inspired by a French TV series titled Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI), featuring Audrey Fleurot as Morgane Alvaro.


How many episodes of Kaitlin Olson's High Potential have come out?

High Potential pilot episode came out on September 17, 2024, and until now ABC has only aired four episodes of the comedy-drama. Interestingly, the first episode was enough to catch viewers' attention as they now eagerly wait for the new episode.

As seen in High Potential episode 4, Morgan and Karadec's relationship is gradually progressing after the two didn't like each other at first. However, now that Morgan has her LAPD badge and more responsibilities, she's trying her best to cooperate with her partner and focus on solving crimes.

The two investigate the kidnapping of two young girls in episode 4 and later find their father's dead body buried in a greenhouse. The girls' mother, Mia, becomes a suspect in the case, but Morgan decides to dismiss this approach and dig deeper.

Morgan then learns about Mia meeting someone who might have kidnapped the girls. She then takes Karadec to the place with her, and the two successfully rescue them. The episode ends by hinting at more drama.
