In an overall heartwarming dad-like post by Isaacs, fans noticed the presence of Francesca Carney on the sets, even though she did not appear in the final cut of the show. This sparked some curiosity, but it was eventually revealed that Carney was the original choice for Chloe's character, which was ultimately portrayed by Charlotte Le Bon in Season 3.

Charlotte Le Bon portrayed the character of Chloe in The White Lotus Season 3. However, it was revealed that Francesca Carney was the original choice for the role. She even filmed for the role, as was evident from Jason Isaac's Instagram post, as per the March 2024 Deadline report.

However, she was soon replaced by Le Bon, as the producers wanted the character of Chloe to look older, and Le Bon is six years older than Carney.

Carney even posted about the same on Instagram. In a now-deleted post, she spoke about how the fact that she got replaced as Chloe was "heartbreaking", but she wished the entire team good luck and reassured the audience that the show would be an amazing watch:

"I've checked out of the White Lotus! Although heartbreaking, I'm so incredibly grateful for the short time I got to spend with everyone. I have so so much love for this cast and crew. Season 3 is gonna be GOOOD. I'll be watching and supporting the whole way."

There were a few reasons why the character of Chloe got switched up to an older actor, many of which revolved around Chloe's age to better fit her relationship with Gary, who is actually Greg. While the show reveals that Gary and Chloe met on a matchmaking service in Dubai, they did not want the idea of Chloe being a prostitute to be very believable to the audience, even though that is what Rick suspects at first.

The narrative of Season 3 explores a disconnected group of extremely wealthy people visiting The White Lotus in Thailand, where the show continues to explore the themes of infidelity, greed, betrayal, and inner conflict.
