The Night Manager Season 2 takes us on a different adventure. It follows Jonathan Pine, now known as Alex Goodwin, and he's an MI6 officer. He runs a quiet surveillance unit (small Night Owls) in London. His life goes for a toss when he encounters Roper's mercenary. Pine now needs to resume his spy role, and his new target is a Colombian businessman, Teddy Dos Santos.

It's been ten years since we saw Jonathan Pine in action. The return of The Night Manager feels like a rare case of revival that makes sense. The world inside the show has changed, and so has Pine. With Richard Roper dead and the old network scattered, the story moves into a new arena with new enemies and new motives. It takes an eight-year time jump. Diego Calva's Teddy Dos Santos steps up as the new antagonist. Camila Morrone's Roxana adds tension, leverage, and is a mystery in Pine's mission. Time will tell whether she is an ally or an enemy.
