Throughout the season, we’ve got subtle hints about Rio's true nature. Her weird comments, or laughing at the Ouija board’s mention of “Death,” all of this teased her secret identity. Fans had their doubts, and this episode just confirmed it.

What does Rio being Death mean for MCU and Agatha All Along?
In the comics, Lady Death is one of the universe’s most significant beings. She’s on par with Eternity, who we saw in Thor: Love and Thunder. She is fearsome as she oversees life and death. Her introduction into the MCU could potentially change the game for future storylines.
One of Lady Death’s famous arcs is her connection to Thanos. In the comics, Thanos’ quest to collect the Infinity Stones was all to impress Lady Death. He was infatuated with her. This was, however, altered for the movies. But Rio’s introduction could potentially pave the way for other intriguing storylines.
Now that the Salem Seven have been defeated, Rio Vidal, aka Lady Death, seems likely to take the center stage. She could be the main antagonist in Agatha All Along. Throughout the show, we’ve noticed her hidden motives. We know she has a soft spot for Agatha, but it’s hard to predict what her final plans are.
The big reveal in episode 7 hints that Death might have a deeper reason to want to confront Agatha, Billy, and Jen. Maybe she wants to take them or manipulate the coven’s power for her own benefit.
Either way, Death’s presence definitely adds a new level of threat and intrigue to the series. This also ensures that the last two episodes will be absolutely thrilling.
