About Storage Wars star Kenny Crossley

Kenny Crossley hails from New Orleans in Louisiana, and manages storage facilities in Los Angeles. He entered the auction space through Barry Weiss. He worked with him for a long while before renaming himself as a fan-favorite staple on Storage Wars since season 10.

Earlier, he was just a guest member who often appeared to buy storage units on the show. However, seeing how much he was loved by the viewers for his quick wit, the producers gave him a full-time role.

Initially, Kenny did not have as much experience as the other bidders on Storage Wars, who did not take much time to become ruthless when it came to buying units.

Talking about his journey in this area, Kenny Crossley told ScreenRant that he used to be a property manager at the storage facility and watched people struggle to let the masses know that there was to be an auction for a unit. Sharing his story of how he got on Storage Wars, Kenny revealed,

"Barry, he bought a locker. He bought a unit, but when they closed it, there was a mattress pinned up against the door. So they came in with the cameras and everything, and I didn't know nobody, but Barry came and said, I got a problem. "

He added,

"I said, what's that? He said, I can't get it up. I said, that sounds like a personal problem [laughs] and ever since then, Barry came back and said, man, you should do this. This stuff would be you funny as hell."

Storage Wars season 16 drops new episodes weekly on A&E at 9 PM Eastern Time on Saturdays.
