1000-Lb. Roomies aired its season finale on Tuesday, July 8, and viewers saw an emotional confrontation unfold between best friends Jaz Wallace and Nesha Harris. With Jaz recently hospitalized following complications after weight-loss surgery, she used her time at home to share some difficult truths with Nesha.
“We’re going to have a serious conversation,”
Jaz warned her in a clip from the finale, before expressing deep concern about Nesha’s long-term health. The reality series has chronicled the duo’s weight loss efforts, setbacks, and their often-strained friendship, but this latest conversation marked a turning point in their dynamic.
Jaz’s heartfelt plea came from a place of firsthand experience. She reminded Nesha of the physical toll that poor health can take and urged her not to wait until it’s too late. She said,
“I don't want you to end up like this. Look at all this medicine I got to take,”
she said, while the camera showed several prescription bottles by her side.
1000-Lb. Roomies: Jaz warns Nesha to take her health seriously after hospitalization
During the July 8 season finale of 1000-Lb. Roomies, Jaz Wallace directly confronted Nesha Harris about her future. After returning home from the hospital and still bedridden, Jaz spoke with urgency about how serious her condition had become and why it prompted her to speak up.
“You might get mad at me. You may take it the wrong way, but it is what it is. And what I got to say is it's time for you to get your s**t together,” she told Nesha.
Jaz continued,
“Your health ain't nothing to play with. Don't play with it how I play with mine.”
As she held back tears, she explained what it felt like during her hospital stay.
“When you laid up in that hospital, when you ain't got s--- to hold on to but your faith, when it feels like, is this the last day I'm going to be here? That s--- hurts. The thought of me not seeing my family hurts.”
Nesha admitted the situation had been frightening for both of them, saying she was just as scared in the moment. Ultimately, they renewed their friendship and agreed to focus more on their well-being.
“I'm not going to let you fail. I'm not going to let you fall. So you promise me? We’re in this together,” Jaz said.
Nesha replied,
“I do. C’mon bruh, give me your pinky.”
In her confessional on 1000-Lb. Roomies, Nesha shared that Jaz’s message deeply resonated with her. She said it served as a wake-up call to reassess her eating habits and overall lifestyle. Nesha acknowledged that she didn’t want to end up in the same health situation as Jaz. Still, she emphasized that any changes would happen gradually, one step at a time.
What happened previously in 1000-Lb. Roomies
1000-Lb. Roomies spotlighted the mounting tension between Jaz Wallace and Nesha Harris over their shared fitness journey. Jaz, frustrated with Nesha’s inconsistency, called her out for skipping workouts and avoiding responsibility. In a separate moment, Dr. Nouri warned Jaz that her chronic pain was tied to low protein intake, making her health struggles even more urgent.
Their relationship hit another snag when Jaz suspected Nesha of eating fast food and called her during a restaurant visit. Nesha refused to show her surroundings on camera, which led Jaz to hang up, feeling doubtful and hurt.
Nesha later opened up to her friend Bree, admitting that Jaz had also stopped taking her shots and was falling behind on her health goals. Bree questioned whether Jaz could still qualify for surgery, a concern Nesha couldn’t confidently answer.
